K-2 | Thinkery Camp

Thinkery Camp is a five-day daytime program for K-2 deaf/hard of hearing children. 

This year's theme is Animal Adventures. Lions, tigers and bears, oh my! Journey through lands near and far to learn about the different animals that inhabit them.

With deaf Thinkery Camp leaders, campers will have an incredible time exploring the answers to questions like "Wha could we design as a team to help animals have the freshest drinking water in our park?" and "What kind of shoes would you design for your favorite manual, reptile or bird?"

Grade Levels: Kindergarten & Grades 1-2

Dates:  Monday-Friday, June 26-30, 2023

Hours:  8 am–3 pm (daily drop off/pick up)

Location:  Texas School for the Deaf, Austin, TX

Host:  Statewide Outreach Center at TSD

Fee:  $250
