Family Weekend Retreat

The flagship Family Weekend Retreat is for all Texas families and caregivers with deaf/hard of hearing children, now in its 38th year.  Learn more about FWR.

 

Join in making connections with other families, deaf/hard of hearing adults, and professionals who work with deaf/hard of hearing children. Throughout the weekend, parents/caregivers and other adult family members will attend educational workshops while children and youth attend activities in a camp-like atmosphere with supervision by qualified staff.

Age Range: Parents/caregivers of children ages birth to 22

Dates:  Friday-Sunday, June 2-4, 2023; registration in advance is required

Hours:  Overnight

Location:  Texas School for the Deaf, Austin, TX

Host:  Statewide Outreach Center at TSD

Fee:  $100 for family of four ($10 for each extra member); covers meals & childcare
