Grades 3-5 | ECO Camp: Caves

ECO Camp: Caves is a six-day overnight program for Grades 3-5 deaf/hard of hearing children. 

 

Is your child interested in science?  Curious about the environment?  Wonders about what natural resources Texas has to offer?  This camp focuses on introducing campers to various intertwining concepts critical to Texas’ environment.  This summer’s theme will be caves. Campers will have a chance to visit various caves from show caves to wild caves.  Leaders will develop campers’ understanding of caves, the animals that reside within caves, and how they are connected to other aspects of Texas’ natural resources.
 

Grade Levels: Grades 3-4-5

Dates:  Sunday-Friday, June 25-30, 2023

Hours:  Overnight (drop off Sunday afternoon, pick up Friday afternoon)

Location:  Central Texas (state park pending)

Host:  Statewide Outreach Center at TSD

Fee:  $300
